3. Inquiries & Booking Requests
Submitting an inquiry form does not guarantee availability or secure a booking date. Dates are only confirmed once:
A signed contract has been completed
A retainer/payment has been received
All bookings are subject to availability.
4. Payments & Retainers
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking date. Remaining balances are due according to the payment schedule outlined in your signed agreement. Failure to complete payments by the agreed due dates may result in cancellation of services.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined within each client contract. Retainers are non-refundable due to the reservation of dates and limited booking availability. If a client requests a reschedule, accommodations will be made where possible based on availability.
6. Creative Style & Artistic Direction
Clients acknowledge that they are familiar with the style, editing approach, and creative direction of Chris and Rosie. Final creative decisions — including editing style, image selection, colour grading, framing, and delivery format — remain at the discretion of the company. RAW/unedited files are not included unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
7. Delivery Timelines
Estimated turnaround times for galleries, films, previews, and deliverables will be outlined in the client agreement. Delivery timelines may vary depending on workload, season, project scope, or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Copyright & Usage
Chris and Rosie / Savage Media Group Inc. retain the copyright to all images, films, and media content created unless otherwise stated in writing. Clients receive personal-use rights for delivered media. Content may not be sold, altered excessively, submitted to contests, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
The company reserves the right to use media created for:
Portfolio use
Website content
Social media
Marketing and promotional materials
Publications and submissions
Clients may request privacy restrictions in writing prior to the event date.
9. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide high-quality services and preserve client media, Chris and Rosie / Savage Media Group Inc. are not liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Weather conditions
Venue restrictions
Equipment failure
Illness or emergencies
Acts of God
Delays caused by third parties
In the unlikely event that services cannot be fulfilled due to emergency circumstances, liability shall be limited to the return of payments received.
